St. Paul’s Special School is a specialised school which educates children on the autistic spectrum. There are fifty four children attending the school. There are six children (pre-school age) in an Early Intervention Class and the remaining forty eight boys and girls are aged between five and eighteen years old.
The needs of the pupils are very high. St. Paul’s Special School is funded by the Department of Education and Skills (DES) but the funding for all the children’s specialised needs fall way short of what is required and we depend hugely on fundraising.
Well done Colette! Adam's mam showed me a video he sent her at bingo on Thursday! You were brilliant :)
